Application Notes
This GX creates the GM-SYS Profile Modelling symbol file and the .GMS file which is used by GM-SYS Profile Modelling to configure the symbols’ display. Run GMSMULTI or GMXMARK on the profile database to create the GM-SYS Profile Modelling model. The symbol files will then automatically be pulled into the models when GM-SYS Profile Modelling is run on the models.
The default template file mag_depth.o0 is shown below. Note that two decimal places are specified for X and Z coordinates and seven places for susceptibility. If you create a different export template, the decimal places exported are controlled by the spreadsheet display unless you explicitly set them.

To change the values in the default template file, press the "Template" button in the mail dialog to access the template editor.
The "Symbols" button in the main dialog opens a dialog where the properties of the first five symbols used for the GM-SYS Profile Modellingmodels are configurable. Choose the symbol type, size, weight, and colour for these symbols, and put them the appropriate entry boxes for these characteristics. The properties for these symbols will then be passed on to the GM-SYS Profile Modelling models made by the program. These symbols can also be changed later in GM-SYS Profile Modelling, if the user chooses, via the "Overlay", "Symbols", and "Load/Configure Symbols" menu items in GM-SYS Profile Modelling.
