Adjust Magnetic Elevation

Use this option to give all magnetic stations a constant terrain separation. The value entered is an absolute height above topography. GM-SYS Profile Modelling does not add this value to the existing station elevations, it replaces them. This function is useful for creating a theoretical magnetic survey that is draped above the topography.

  • This option is also available in the Magnetic Anomaly Pane Context Menu.

    • To Adjust Magnetic Elevation

    1. On the Profile menu, select Set Magnetic Elevation. The Set Magnetic Elevation dialog appears.

    2. Specify the Terrain separation. For example, to move all stations to the topographic surface, enter "0".

    3. From the drop-down list, select the units.

    4. Click OK. The selected changes appear.
