Import USGS ODDF Express

Use the Database > Import > USGS > ODDF Express menu option (IMPODDF GX) to import USGS ODDF Express files.

Import file

Input ODDF data file name. Script Parameter: IMPODDF.DATA

Application Notes

USGS ODDF Express files are binary files with at text header describing the file. If no column names are given in the header of the file, the default channel names are Z1,Z2,Z3 etc.

If the "Specify coordinate system on import" setting is set to "Yes" in the General Settings, and if no coordinate system is defined in the current X and Y channels, the "Georeference Database Channels" dialog is called so that the projection can be set on the X and Y.
