Make Fid Channel
Use the Database Tools > Channel Tools > Make Fid Channel menu option (MAKEFID GX) to create a fiducial channel based on a specified reference channel. The reference channel is used to determine a start fiducial, fiducial increment, and number of elements to create.

Fiducial data type, one of BYTE, SHORT, LONG, FLOAT, or DOUBLE. Default is "FLOAT". Script Parameter: MAKEFID.TYPE |
Application Notes
If a fiducial channel may be required for math calculations or for exporting to an XYZ file, his GX enables you to create a fiducial channel for such purposes.
