Sort a Single Channel

Use the Database Tools > Channel Tools > Sort a Single Channel menu option (SORTCHAN GX) to sort the contents of a channel on each selected line.

Channel:

Name of the channel to sort.

Script Parameter: SORTCHAN.CHANNEL

Order:

The sorting order: ascending or descending.

Script Parameter: SORTCHAN.ORDER

If you need to organize your data, you have the option (SORTCHAN GX) of sorting a specific channel on lines currently selected in the database.

Sorting a channel in this way causes the channel to loose its fiducial relationship with the other channels on the line.

Use the SORTALL GX to sort all channels on a line based on a reference channel and thus maintain fiducial relationships.
