Restore X,Y Channels after Windowing

When you are finished working with the windowed database, you may want to restore the database to its original dimensions so that you continue applying other processes or archive the database. Use the WINOLD GX to restore the original X and Y channels after windowing the default X and Y channels.

To restore the X and Y channels:

  1. On the Database Tools > Window Data menu select Restore Full X,Y menu option, or run the WINOLD GX.

  2. The system copies the data from the "_ X" and "_ Y" backup channels back into the original "X" and "Y" channels.

    The names of the "backup" channels (where the original data is saved) begin with a double underscore followed by the original channel names (e.g., "X" becomes "__X", and "EAST" becomes "__EAST").
