RESIX Zonge Inversion
Use this GX to set parameters for the Interpex RESIX IP2DI image inversion. For a description of individual parameters, consult the RESIX IP2DI manual.
RESIX Zonge Inversion dialog options
Cell start height |
The height of the first row of cells at the surface. The height of each row of cells increases with depth. Script Parameter: IP.I2X_STARTHEIGHT (default 0.3333) |
Cell height increment |
The factor by which the height of each deeper row of cells increases. Script Parameter: IP.I2X_HEIGHTINC (default 1.25) |
Stopping Error (Res) |
Inversion stops when the rms difference between the input and inverted values falls below this value. (Failing this, inversion is stopped when the maximum number of iterations is reached.) Script Parameter: IP.I2X_STOPERR_RES (default 5.0) |
Stopping Error (IP) |
Inversion stops when the rms difference between the input and inverted values falls below this value. (Failing this, inversion is stopped when the maximum number of iterations is reached.) Script Parameter: IP.I2X_STOPERR_IP (default 0.1) |
Joint inversion factor (Res) |
When resistivity and IP values are inverted together, the errors are weighted according to the relative joint inversion factors for resistivity and IP. For instance, if the factor for resistivity is larger than for IP, then the resistivity values will tend to be matched more closely, at the expense of the fit for IP values. Script Parameter: IP.I2X_IMPORTANCE_RES (default 1.0) |
Joint inversion factor (IP) |
When resistivity and IP values are inverted together, the errors are weighted according to the relative joint inversion factors for resistivity and IP. For instance, if the factor for resistivity is larger than for IP, then the resistivity values will tend to be matched more closely, at the expense of the fit for IP values. Script Parameter: IP.I2X_IMPORTANCE_IP (default 0.1) |
Number XM Per Dipole |
The number of cells horizontally in the model, in terms of the electrode spacing. Script Parameter: IP.I2X_NXMPERDIPOLE (default 2) |
Finite element columns factor |
?????? Script Parameter: IP.I2X_FE_COLUMNS (default 2) |
?????? Script Parameter: IP.I2X_FE_ROWS (default 1) |
|
Boundary condition |
Forces structure in the output model in a preferred direction to better match the expected geology. Script Parameter: IP.I2X_BOUNDARY2 (-25: "Fully Vertical", -10: "Strongly Vertical", -5: "Moderately Vertical", 0: ,"Equal Treatment", 5: "Moderately Horizontal", 10: "Strongly Horizontal", 25: "Fully Horizontal". Default 0) |
Maximum iterations (Res) |
The maximum number of iterations in the inversion sequence before the process exits, assuming that the stopping error has not been achieved. Script Parameter: IP.I2X_ITMAX_RES (default 9) |
Maximum iterations (IP) |
The maximum number of iterations in the inversion sequence before the process exits, assuming that the stopping error has not been achieved. Script Parameter: IP.I2X_ITMAX_IP (default 9) |
