Copy Channel

Use the Database Tools > Channel Tools > Copy Channel menu option (COPY GX) to copy one channel to another.

Copy Channel dialog options

Copy from	Original channel. Script Parameter: COPY.FROM
Copy to	Destination channel. Script Parameter: COPY.TO
Decimation factor	Decimation factor, default 1. Script Parameter: COPY.DECIMATE
New fiducial start	New start fiducial, defaults to FROM fiducial start. Script Parameter: COPY.FIDSTART
New fiducial increment	New fiducial increment, defaults to FROM fid increment. Script Parameter: COPY.FIDINCR

Application Notes

If a new channel does not exist, it will be created with the same definition as the original channel. Where the mask channel value is a dummy "*", the copied value will be set to a dummy; otherwise the data is copied as is, subject to the usual rule on data conversion if the original and destination channels are different types.
