New Map Template from Library

Use the Map Tools >  Map Template >  New Template from Library menu option (geogxnet.dll(Geosoft.GX.MapTemplate.MapTemplate;AddFromLibrary)*), to select a map template from the library and add it to the current project.

Application Notes

When you are satisfied with your selection, click the OK button. The Save Map Template As dialog will be displayed. It is always recommended to save all you project data in your current project directory. Specify a name and click the Save button.

Templates are usually added to a project with the intent to change it specifically for that project (it is possible to create maps from templates in a project as well as from ones in the library) or to manipulate the layout and contents and then adding the template back to the library with the same or different name.
