Display 3D Line Path

From the Add to 3D menu in the 3D Viewer, select the 3D Line Path option to display the 3D line path of data surveyed along lines.

3D Line Path dialog options

Line Colour

Select the line colour.

Script Parameter: PATH3D.LINE_COLOUR

Plot line labels

Check this box to plot labels. By default, it is checked.

Script Parameter: PATH3D.PLOT_LABELS

[Checked:1 | unchecked:0]

Label size

The label size in ground units. Click on to calculate an optimal size. The optimal size is set to 1% of the largest dimension of the voxel.

Script Parameter: PATH3D.LABEL_SIZE

Label colour

Select the label colour.

Script Parameter: PATH3D.LABEL_COLOUR

Label position

Choose one of the positions from the drop-down list.

Script Parameter: PATH3D.LABEL_POSITION

Label offset

The label offset in the ground units from the end of the line. It is recommended to set it equal to label size.

Script Parameter: PATH3D.LABEL_OFFSET

Gap tolerance

Maximum distance between 2 adjacent points on the line before breaking the line. By default, each line is plotted as a solid line with no breaks.

Script Parameter: PATH3D.GAP

Application Notes

The 3D line path is plotted as solid lines. No options are offered for customizing the thickness or style of the line.
