MAPPLOT Template Manager

Templates represent default map settings that define page size, page orientation and the position of the elements on the map. Oasis montaj provides a Template Manager that contains a variety of default templates.

You can modify the default templates or create your own standard maps with logos, custom layouts and other elements as required. For example, you may specify a new template name, and your own layout parameters that you use regularly for map-making.

Use the MAPTMPL GX to select/modify a MAPPLOT template.

Map templates are currently saved permanently in your system. It is advisable to experiment using the same template until you are ready to create a final version with a custom name. You may want to make up a testing template, called TEST, for example.
