UNIT (Set map unit factor)

Dimensions and coordinates (in map units) are multiplied by the map unit factor to produce map units in centimetres. The UNIT command may be used to change the map working units to something more convenient or familiar than centimetres.

Command Syntax:

UNIT factor

Command Parameters:

Factor
The multiplier applied to map units to produce centimetres. Common factors are:
	0.1	Work in map millimetres
	2.54	Work in inches

Example

UNIT 2.54

Sets the Map Unit Factor to work in inches.
