Total Distance

Use the Database Tools > Reports > Total Distance menu option (TOTLDIST GX) to calculate total (cumulative) distance from provided X and Y channels down the lines.

The option is also available with the Airborne Quality Control extension under the Airborne QC > Statistics menu.

Total Distance dialog options

Existing X channel	The field is automatically populated with the coordinate channel in the active database. Expand the drop-down list to select a different X channel. Script Parameter: TOTLDIST.X
Existing Y channel	The field is automatically populated with the coordinate channel in the active database. Expand the drop-down list to select a different Y channel. Script Parameter: TOTLDIST.Y

Application Notes

The X and Y channels are assumed to hold coordinates of a normal Cartesian coordinate system.
