Save a Database

It is recommended that you save changes whenever you perform a major editing or processing step. If you process data further and results are not as you expected, you can then restore your database to its previously saved state (Database > Discard Changes) and repeat your processing with different parameters.

  1. On the Database menu select Save, or click the Save Changes button in the Database Viewer Toolbar. The Save Database prompt is displayed.

  2. Click Yes to save the changes to the current database.

Changing the way in which data appears in the spreadsheet (i.e., by showing or hiding channels) does not alter the values in your database; editing (e.g., by adding or deleting channels or by altering data values) does change your underlying database.
