Oasis montaj provides an intuitive Graphical User Interface (GUI) that enables you to interactively perform a wide variety of data management, editing, processing, visualization, interpretation, analysis, mapping and other tasks.

Geosoft Viewer provides an intuitive Graphical User Interface (GUI) that enables you to access, convert and share earth science data, grids and images in a variety of standard formats.

The Oasis montaj Script Processor provides a DOS command-line interface that you can use to run multiple processes on your data. This functionality enables you to group sequences of complex or time-consuming processes in a special macro file called a Geosoft Script and apply them to your data using a single command; then, view the results in Oasis montaj.

Geosoft's older processing functions are provided through Geosoft eXecutable procedures (Geosoft eXecutables), which you can run from both Oasis montaj and Oasis montaj Script Processor. The standard system includes many GX procedures to accomplish routine data handling tasks. More advanced or specialized processing tasks are provided through custom menu systems.

The GX Developer is an optional GX development toolkit that enables application developers to create custom GX and GX.Net procedures that can be run from Oasis montaj and Oasis montaj Script Processor. GX and GX.Net procedures are developed in a C-like language that provides access to the same rich object-environment used by Geosoft's own developers.

The GX Developer environment provides an easy-to-use yet powerful framework for creating both Geosoft GX and GX.Net procedures and for customizing the system to your exact requirements.
