Determine UTM Zone - Statistics
After completing the , the Statistics window opens, and a summary report of the calculated UTM zones is displayed. You have the option to save the summary report to a text file.

Database

The current database file name is displayed.

Channel Statistics
|
Basic statistical information, calculated on the output UTM zone channel, is reported in the following informational parameters:
Channel name
|
The name of the channel containing the calculated UTM zones.
|
Line(s)
|
The lines that have been used in the calculation of the UTM zones are reported in one of the formats below:

Number of items
|
The total number of entries in the UTM zones channel.
|
Number of valid items
|
The number of valid entries in the UTM zones channel.
|
Number of dummies
|
The number of empty values in the UTM zones channel.
|
|
Zone | Percentage
|
The UTM zones and the % of data that falls in each integer zone are listed:
Zone
|
The name of the zone is concatenated using the UTM zone value (which is between 1 and 60) and its corresponding hemisphere designation (N|S).

Percentage
|
The % of data, rounded to one decimal place.
|

[Save Stats]
|
Select this button to save the content of the Statistics window to a text file (see below for an example). The name of the summary report file is concatenated using the database name and the current date.
