Resistance Capacitance Filter

Use the Resistance Capacitance option to apply a Fast-Fourier Transform Resistance Capacitance filter to a database channel.

The filter option is available with the following extensions and menus:

Geophysics: 1D FFT > 1D Filtering
Gravity and Terrain Correction: Moving Platform Gravity > Apply Single FFT Filter

Central Wavelength cutoff
(in ground units)

Specify the Central Wavelength cutoff value, in ground units.

(Default is 1)

Script Parameter: FFTRC.WAVEL

Low or High Pass Filter

Select Low or High Pass filter.

(Default is Low)

Script Parameter: FFTRC.PASS

The Resistance Capacitance filter is excellent for smoothing the gravity data.
