Grid Histogram
Use the Grid Histogram option (GRIDHIST GX) from the Grid and Image > Display on Map menu or the Map Tools > Symbols menu to plot a grid histogram.
The option is also available with the Grav/Mag Interpretation extension under the menu Euler 3D > Plot Solution Symbols.
Grid Histogram dialog options
AGG/layer group |
view\AGG_layer for the primary colour bar ITR. Script Parameter: GRIDHIST.AGG |
Title |
Histogram Title. Script Parameter: GRIDHIST.TITLE |
Annotation size (mm) |
Annotation size. Annotations that are too crowded will be dropped from the annotation axis of the colour bar. Script Parameter: GRIDHIST.ANNSIZE |
Number of bins |
The number of histogram bins. Select a value from 2 to 1000. Script Parameter: GRIDHIST.BINS (default 50) |
Histogram height (mm) |
The histogram height. Script Parameter: GRIDHIST.HEIGHT |
Histogram width (mm) |
The histogram width. Script Parameter: GRIDHIST.WIDTH |
Map location X (mm) |
The X location of the bottom left corner of the histogram on the current map. Click on the Locate button to locate the histogram interactively. Script Parameter: GRIDHIST.X |
Y (mm) |
The Y location of the bottom left corner of the histogram on the current map. Click on the Locate button to locate the histogram interactively. Script Parameter: GRIDHIST.Y |
Data distribution |
By default, the histogram X scale is linear. If a logarithmic distribution is chosen, then the X scale is logarithmic, and the bin sizes increase as the log of the data value. Script Parameter: GRIDHIST.LOG (0:Linear (default), 1:Logarithmic) |
Summary statistics |
Print summary of statistics? "Yes" or "No" (default No). Script Parameter: GRIDHIST.SUMM |
Box-Whisker plot |
Draw a Box-Whisker plot? "Yes" or "No" (default No) Script Parameter: GRIDHIST.BOXWHISKER |
Probability scaling for % |
Re-scales the accumulated probability curve assuming a normal distribution of data (as if the data were plotted in terms of standard deviations from the mean). "Yes" or "No" (default No). Script Parameter: GRIDHIST.PROBABILITY |
