Use the Database > Import > USGS > POST File menu option (IMPOST GX) to import USGS POST files.

Input POST data file name. Script Parameter: IMPOST.DATA

Application Notes

A post file is a binary file in which each record contains a record identification ID (8 ASCII characters), X (real*4) and Y (real*4) coordinates, and any number of dependent variables Z1,Z2,… (read*4 for each one).

If the "Specify coordinate system on import" setting is set to "Yes" in the General Settings, and if no coordinate system is defined in the current X and Y channels, the "Georeference Database Channels" dialog is called so that the projection can be set on the X and Y.
