A vertical line of cells that contain data.

In Oasis montaj, the term ‘columns’ is used when referring to the spreadsheet window, and the term ‘channels’ is used when referring to the database itself. For example, you would import channels of data from an ASCII database and display them in the columns of the spreadsheet.
