Scan ASEG-GDF2
Use the Database > Import > ASEG-GDF > Scan GDF menu option (SCANASEG GX) to scan a specified ASEG-GDF2 file and generate a default import template. This template can then be edited to remove unwanted channels and rename lines as needed using the ALIAS keyword.

Select the ASEG-GDF2 data file (.dat) containing the data, with one record per line. Script Parameter: SCANASEG.DATA |
Flight line channel name |
Defaults to "FLTLINE" initially. Subsequently, it displays the channel name specified in the most recent SCANASEG GX execution. If the input flight line channel name does not match the entry in the DEFN file, an error will be triggered. The FLC entry in the template file created will be left empty, and the IMPORT line will include the flight line field defined in the DEFN file.
If no flight line channel is specified in the DEFN file, the flight line channel name field may be left blank in the dialog. The FLC entry in the template file created will be left empty. Script Parameter: SCANASEG.FLC |

Specify the name of the template file to be created (the .I4 extension is assumed). Script Parameter: SCANASEG.TEMPLATE |
