Open/Close Map Managers

To set the open/close state of the Map Manager window for all maps that are currently opened in the workspace, go to the Map menu and click on one of the options below:

• Open Map Managers – Use this option to open the Map Manager window in all opened maps in the current workspace: the maps will automatically resize to accommodate the Map Manager windows.

• Close Map Managers – Use this option to close the Map Manager window in all opened maps in the current workspace. The window will remain displayed as a tab on the left side of the map, and the maps will automatically resize to remove the unused space.

All changes to the maps are saved when the maps are closed.

You may want to control whether the Map Manager is open or closed by default for all your projects, so you don't need to manually open and resize every single map. To specify whether you want all Map Managers to be opened or closed by default when the maps are first opened, go to the Advanced Settings tool and configure the “Pin Map Manager” global setting.
