Export Data Files

The Drillhole system enables you to export your data files in several formats including CSV, Access database and LAS file format.

CSV Format

The CSV export dialog enables you to export the drillholes by type (Assays, Rocks, Survey and Collar). You will be asked for a Prefix that is appended to the file type name and CSV extension. All the holes will be grouped by type and exported into different files.

Example:

PREFIX:  MyData

FILES CREATED: MyData.Collar.csv, MyData.Assay.csv,MyData.Rock.csv...

If no prefix is provided, the files will simply be "Assay.csv" etc.

Access database Format

The Access Database export dialog enables you to export the currently "Selected Holes", "All Holes" or "Select from list" to a Access database (*.MDB or *.MDE) file.

  • If the output file and table already exist, the table will be overwritten, and the previous contents will be lost.
  • LAS version 2 file Format

The LAS export dialog enables each hole to be exported to its own file sampled at a user specified interval.

  • The DHIMPORTLAS GX stores most of an import LAS file in a database "blob", one for each hole. If this information is found for the exported hole, it is used to populate the exported LAS file. If the exported hole was not initially created using the DHIMPORTLAS GX, then a "bare-bones" LAS file is created.
