To Add a Symbol Legend

1. From the Histogram tool, click the Plot Symbol Legend on the Current Map button (). The system displays the Graduated Colour Symbol Legend dialog.

2. Specify the Title for legend (Optional) and the Subtitle for legend (Optional), and then click the Locate button.

3. The system displays the Locate Legend dialog box. Click the OK button.

4. The system displays the cursor as a cross hair on the map. Position your cursor on the map where you want the lower left-hand corner of the legend to appear.

5. Click the left mouse button. The system returns you to the previous dialog box.

6. Click the OK button. The system plots the legend on the map and redisplays the Histogram Analysis tool.

7. To close the Histogram Analysis tool, click the () button.
