Resistance Capacitance Filter

Use the Resistance Capacitance option to apply a Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) resistance capacitance filter to a database channel.

The filter option is available with the following extensions and menus:

• 1D FFT > 1D Filtering
• Moving Platform Gravity  > Filters > Apply Single FFT Filter

Resistance Capacitance filter options

Central wavelength cutoff (in ground units)	Specify the central wavelength cutoff value in ground units. Default: 1 Script Parameter: FFTRC.WAVEL
Low or high pass filter	Select whether to apply a Low pass or High pass filter. Default: Low Script Parameter: FFTRC.PASS

Application Notes

This filter is particularly effective for smoothing gravity data.
