Save Grid as Map
The Open in New Map dialog is launched from the Grid Viewer toolbar (
) when a grid is the active window. Use this dialog to save the current grid to a new map and set its map scale. The grid window closes after the grid is successfully saved and the new map is created.

Application Notes
A map scale is required to determine appropriate scaling for drawing text, patterned lines, and other map graphic details. The default scale has been chosen to fit the map to an area of approximately 30 × 30 cm when plotted. If you wish to round off the scale, choose a value larger than the default to ensure the map fits on the paper.
