Export and Publish Data

Oasis montaj provides the tools to easily integrate data, grids and images, and maps to other software systems that are essential in your organization, including Geographic Information Systems (GIS), spreadsheet programs, and relational databases.

You can organize and store your key project data (an easy-to-understand file-naming system enables you to quickly identify additional files for backup) and send it to your colleagues:

  • You can archive a map (Pack Map Files or Pack 3D View Files) with all of its component files (i.e., grids, images, symbols, 3D views, projection information, etc.) and

  • You can send the packed map to your colleagues using Oasis montaj. When you (or a colleague), unpacks the map file, all of the individual files will be available in the current project.

Oasis montaj integration with Seequent Central through the Seequent Connector allows you to connect to a Central server, select datasets (e.g., Geosoft grids, databases, voxels, geosurfaces, etc.) from your current Oasis montaj project and publish them to a Central Project.

Oasis montaj and stand-alone Target seamlessly integrate with Seequent Evo, enabling direct connectivity to its Seequent Evo platform. This allows you to publish geoscience data from your current project to a Seequent Evo workspace and import geoscience data from any accessible Evo workspaces.
