Share and Collaborate

Share your Drillhole Project

Use the Package Project tool, found in the Package group on the Share tab, to share your drillhole project with your colleagues or with any other ArcGIS users through ArcGIS Online or ArcGIS Enterprise.

The project package will pack all the contents of the APRX, including all maps and the data referenced by its layers, as well as all of your imported drillhole data and folder connections. For more information on saving, uploading and consuming a project package see the ArcGIS Pro Help link, Share a project package.

Notes on project packages containing drillhole datasets:

In order to ensure the drillhole dataset is recognized and activated after opening a "packed" project, you need to include the Drillhole Properties object (the DH_"Feature Dataset"_Properties feature class) in the package. When the project package is opened, this object is what "tells" Target for ArcGIS Pro that the data is drillhole data.

To do this, prior to packaging, add the Drillhole Properties object to any map or scene in the project, using one of the options below:

Having the layer on a map will ensure it gets packaged.

Layouts

A page layout (often referred to simply as a layout) is a collection of map elements organized on a virtual page designed for map printing. Common map elements include one or more map frames (each containing an ordered set of map layers), a scale bar, a north arrow, a map title, descriptive text, and a legend. For geographic reference, you can add grids or graticules.

For more information on working with layouts in ArcGIS Pro, see the ArcGIS Pro Help link: Layouts in ArcGIS Pro.

Web Sharing

You can share a scene from ArcGIS Pro to your active portal as a web scene. Web scenes are interactive displays of geographic information, which are useful when you need to expose 3D data on the web for visualization and analysis. You can view and interact with web scenes using ArcGIS Pro and Scene Viewer. You can also share web scenes with colleagues and other ArcGIS Online users.

For more information on working with layouts in ArcGIS Pro, see the ArcGIS Pro Help link: Share a Web Scene.
