Subset Target Group

Use the Subset Target Group option (geosoft.uxo.gxnet.dll(Geosoft.GX.UXO.UxoSubsetTargets;Run)*) to copy a subset of the targets list to a new targets list.

Subset Target Group dialog options

Target database

Select the current target database.

Script Parameter: UXDETECT.TARGET_GDB

Input group

Input target group to subset. The input group remains unchanged.

Script Parameter: UXSUBSET.OLD_TARGETS

Mask channel

Select the target database mask channel to filter out specific targets. Only the targets with a mask (channel value) of 1 will be processed. If the value is set to 0 or dummy (*), the corresponding target will be ignored.

If the field is left blank, no mask will be applied.

Script Parameter: UXDETECT.TARGET_MASK

Output group

The new target group to create. An existing group will be overwritten.

Script Parameter: UXSUBSET.NEW_TARGETS

Application Notes

Individual targets are selected or de-selected by setting their mask channel values. If no mask channel is selected, then the group is copied "as is". The Subset Target Group option can be used to create a new list with only the selected targets. This may be done, for instance as a preliminary step to creating a dig sheet.

*The GX tool will search in the "gx" folder. The GX.Net tools, however, are embedded in the Geosoft.uxo.gxnet.dll located in the bin folder. If running this GX interactively, bypassing the menu, first change the folder to point to the bin folder, then supply the GX.Net tool in the specified format.
