Reweighting Model
Use the options Constraints > Add Constraint > Reweighting Model or Reweighting Model > Modify to apply an voxel base reweighting constraint to the Inversion.
Modify Reweighting Model Constraint dialog box options
Constraint type |
The default is None indicating no reweighting. Choose Voxel to assign the weighting values at each voxel element as specified in an input voxel. If this option is chosen, you will be prompted for the voxel model file. |
Filename |
If the Voxel option has been chosen, you are prompted to provide the reweighting voxel model coinciding with the data. This voxel model puts emphasis on the target characteristics, in the areas of high weight values. The voxel model is re-gridded to the mesh interval and extrapolated to the extents of the padded mesh and normalized on the fly. |
Application Notes
The reweighting model is effectively used to refine the inversion and emphasize the model characteristics in the areas of high weight values. The input Reweighting voxel need not be normalized prior to the inversion; VOXI will normalize it on the fly. The dynamic spread of the weight values control the relative degree of emphasis.
