The first step in the process of resource estimation is gaining a thorough understanding of your data. Leapfrog Energy has general tools that help you understand your data, which are described in the Analysing Data and Saved Statistics topics. These tools help you become familiar with your data, identify possible errors and identify or confirm different mineralisation populations.

Make sure that the data is clean, with special and invalid values in the assay data properly handled. See Handling Special Values for more details.

Use the compositing tools to composite the data.

Then use the Leapfrog Edge data preparation and estimation dataset tools to select and refine the data you will use for domained estimations.
