Export a Surface

The Surface spreadsheet enables you to export a Surface. You may export the surface as a generic ASCII (X,Z) or (X,Y,Z) file with the point locations -- no header information, such as units, is included.

To Export a Surface

  1. On the Action menu, select Examine.

  2. Click the Surface to export. The Surface spreadsheet dialog appears.

  3. Click Export Profile or Export RealWorld. The Export dialog appears.

  4. Specify the export file name and location.

  5. Click Save. The file is exported and you are returned to the Surface spreadsheet.

  6. Click OK. You are returned to the model.
