Interpolation

This option applies to 2D SEG-Y files that are being exported as raster images. The configuration determines whether to interpolate between adjacent traces, or leave blank (white) pixels. If the seismic line direction and/or shot-point spacing is variable, the projected trace locations may have gaps between them.

To Set Interpolation

  1. On the Configure tab, click Process SEG-Y.

  2. Click Interpolation. The Interpolation dialog appears.

  3. Select Yes to display any gaps in data. Select No to perform linear interpolation (default).
