Specify 2D SEG-Y Subsample Survey

The Subsample Survey dialog enables you to specify whether or not to skip any traces while processing the SEG-Y file. By default, the All radio buttons are selected and all samples are included.

To Set the Subsample Survey

  1. On the Configure tab, click Process SEG-Y.

  2. Click Subsample Survey. The Subsample Survey dialog appears.

  3. Click From and specify a range of traces if you wish to use only a subset of the file.

  4. To limit the sample values used in each trace, under Trace sample windowing and decimation, click From. The fields become active.

  5. Enter the From and To sample position values, which can range from 1 to the maximum number of sample values per trace. The New Vertical sample interval field automatically updates.
