Adjust Gravity Elevation

Use this option to give all gravity stations a constant terrain separation or to move the stations to exactly terrain level (0 separation). The value entered is an absolute height above topography; GM-SYS Profile Modelling does not add this value to the existing station elevations, it replaces them. To move all stations to the topographic surface, enter "0".

  • This option is also available in the Gravity Pane Context Menu.

    • To Adjust Gravity Elevation

    1. On the Profile menu, select Set Gravity Elevation. The Set Gravity Elevation dialog appears.

    2. Specify the Terrain separation. For example, to move all stations to the topographic surface, enter "0".

    3. Click the units drop-down list to select the units.

    4. Click OK. The selected changes appear.
