Inline/Crossline
3D seismic surveys have internal inline and crossline coordinates, which specify location within the seismic volume.
In the Inline/Crossline dialog, specify the trace header location and format for the inline and crossline values. This may be determined from a loadsheet, or may be determined by scrolling through the traces in the TraceViewer and observing how the values change. Crossline values will change most rapidly, and will return to a minimum value each time the inline is incremented.
For the Crossline spacing, each crossline increment represents a constant distance increment, in ground units, along the line. Similarly, for the Inline spacing, each inline increment represents a constant distance increment between lines. Specify the distance (in ground units, which are defined in the Navigation topic) represented by each increment in the inline and crossline trace headers. This provides the basis of the cell size determined for any volume that is exported.
