View/Edit Workspace Parameters (WPEDIT)

The View/Edit Workspace Parameters utility (GM-SYS 3D Tools > Utilities menu) is a general purpose tool for examining and editing the current workspace parameters. A list of parameter GROUPS is displayed, the selected group is written to a temporary file, and the user default editor is invoked on that file. Changes will be written back to the workspace parameter block only in EDIT mode, and only after the changes are confirmed.

  • Use with caution, as improperly formed parameters may cause problems. As no attempt is made to insure that any parameter read back in actually belongs to the group being edited, you may effectively create a new group at any time.

    Select Group

    Select from a pull-down list of parameter groups in the current project workspace.

    [Edit]

    Make changes to the parameters in the selected group.
    [View]

    Display the selected group parameters in an editor, open read-only.
