Filter Anomaly Profile

Use the Filter menu option to select a filter and generate filtered versions of your calculated and observed gravity or magnetic anomaly profiles.

The option is available on the Compute menu, or as a context menu in the Gravity and Magnetics panes.

  • Ground units are the distance units defined for the model origin and projection.

    Filter to apply

    Select one of the available filters. The area below will be populated with the selected filter's parameter options.

    [Clear]

    Clear the filter selection and all parameters.

    [Apply]

    Use the selected filter and settings to calculate the filtered profiles. The filter dialog remains open.

    Application Notes

    The 1D FFT filters are part of the montaj Geophysics extension. You must have a montaj Geophysics license in order to see and access the Filter Anomaly Profile options.
