Gaussian Filter for Anomaly Profile

Use the Gaussian filter to apply a Fast-Fourier Transform Gaussian filter to the anomaly profiles.

Gaussian Filter dialog options

Standard Deviation of function

Specify the standard deviation of function, in ground units.

Low or High-Pass Filter

Select Low or High-Pass filter. Default is Low.

Application Notes

  • Ground units are the distance units defined for the model origin and projection.

    • The Gaussian filter is another smooth filter that is often used for Low-Pass or High-Pass applications.
