Graphics Entities
Graphic entities are the basic graphics building blocks used to describe a graphic element. Lines, circles, polygons, and text strings are examples of graphics entities. A Geosoft plot file is a collection of many graphics entities that make up a map.
To draw an entity, the system needs to know:

where to draw it
-
its size and shape
-
the basic attributes to use when drawing the entity
