Display Voxel/Geosurface in 3D View
Use the Export > Display in 3D View menu option from the Voxel Viewer or the Geosurface Viewer to create a 3D View that will contain the currently displayed voxel or geosurface.
Open in New 3D View/Save as 3D View dialog options
3D View name |
Specify a name for your 3D View. By default the 3D View will acquire the name of the displayed voxel or geosurface; however, you can override the default. 3D Views are created and saved as "*.geosoft_3dv" files. |
Application Notes
Once the 3D View is created, added to the Project Explorer and opened in a 3D Viewer window, the Voxel Viewer/ Geosurface Viewer window will close. The voxel/geosurface will be displayed in the 3D Viewer of the new 3D View. The extents and coordinate system of the 3D View will be automatically set to the extents and coordinate system of the voxel added to the view.
