Display a Voxel in the Voxel Viewer

Using the Voxel > Open menu option you can open and view any voxel file. The Voxel Viewer provides an integrated 3D environment that includes all of the settings, functions and tools to modify and export your voxel file. Using the Voxel Viewer, you can view the voxel properties and metadata, set the display and rendering features, modify the attributes and clipping regions, export to a number of formats, and display the voxel in a map (*.map) file.

Display a Voxel in the Voxel Viewer

  1. On the Voxel menu, select Open. The Open Geosoft Voxel dialog appears.
    Select the voxel to open and click the Open button.

    or

  2. In the Project Explorer window, select (double-click) on the voxel to display.

  3. The selected voxel will be displayed in the Voxel Viewer:
