array channel
Array channels appear as profile curves in certain cells of a database. Array channels contain multiple columns of single-channel data within them.
By representing data in an array channel, all the readings for a single location can be put into one column of the spreadsheet instead of having several channels for the multiple amplitude readings at each survey location. When dealing with array channels, it is important to remember that the channels do not display the data numerically, but they represent the data as a curve.
For example, at each reading in an IP survey, several different time windows or frequencies are recorded in separate channels. An array channel represents all these amplitudes or windows by displaying a curve.
