Update Project from Central

Use the Project > Update Project from Central menu option to download a revision from a Seequent Central project and update the datasets in your existing Oasis montaj project. To be able to use this option, you need to first either publish a revision to a Central project or open a project from Central.

Datasets in your local Oasis montaj project folder will be overwritten by those downloaded from Central.

On the Project menu, select Update Project from Central.
In the Update Project from Central message box, click Proceed to acknowledge the update/overwrite of existing datasets in the project.
The Seequent Connector Open Project from Central dialog opens: select the server, project, and revision and click the Download button.
The Oasis montaj project will be updated: existing datasets are overwritten, and any new datasets contained in the downloaded revision are added to the Project Explorer of the current project and opened in the project's workspace.

Application Notes

Use the Update Project from Central option to download a new (different) revision from Central. Some examples are:

Your are testing various options when processing or modelling data, and you would like to use a previous result.
A collaborator has published new/updated results that you would like to review.

When the files are downloaded, any files in your project folder that have the same name will be automatically overwritten.

The option is not scriptable due to interaction with Seequent Connector and Central.
