Coordinate System - Copy To

Use the Copy Coordinate System To dialog to allow another file to inherit the currently displayed coordinate system.

Copy Coordinate System To dialog options

File type

Use the drop-down list to select the file type that will inherit the currently displayed coordinate system:

  • ESRI projection (PRJ) - Projections (*.prj)
  • Database - Database (*.gdb)
  • Grid - Geosoft (*.GRD)
  • Voxel - Geosoft Voxel (*.geosoft_voxel)
  • Polygon (PLY) - Geosoft Polygons (*.ply)

File name

Use the browse button [...] to locate the file name to copy the coordinate system to.

[OK]

The current CS (coordinate system) is assigned to the selected file.
