Pattern Attributes

Use the Pattern Attributes dialog to modify the attributes of the selected pattern. The dialog opens from the Polygon Attributes dialog.

Pattern Attributes dialog options

Pattern family	Use the Pattern family drop-down list to select the "family" of patterns (Solid fill, Objects, Hatches, Geology, MapInfo and GM‑SYS Hatches).
Pattern	Select a Pattern from the list of displayed patterns in the box below.
Colour	To select the Colour of the pattern, click inside the coloured box below. The Colour tool will be displayed.
Background	To select the Background colour of the pattern, click inside the coloured box below. The Colour tool will be displayed.
Tile size (mm)	Specify the Tile Size of the pattern in millimetres.
Tile density	Specify the tile density of the pattern.
Line thickness (% of Tile size)	Specify the line thickness (% of Tile size) of the pattern.
Example	An example of the selected pattern including all of the modified parameters (Size, Density, thickness) is displayed in the window of below.
Refresh	Click the Refresh button to update the Example box when changes have been made to any of the parameters.

Application Notes

When selecting patterns from the MapInfo or GM‑SYS Hatches families, the Tile Size, Tile Density and Line Thickness parameters should not be modified in order to properly display the original patterns.
