colour zone file (*.zon)

A zone (ZON) file is an ASCII file that maps a colour palette to the Z values of a grid or colour symbols. Using the Colour Tool, you can save a customised zone file or load a previously created zone file.

A zone file can be saved as one of the following file types:

  • Aggregate image (AGG)

  • Index transform (ITR)

  • Colour table (TBL)

  • ER Mapper colour lookup table (LUT)
