Calculate Sample Separation
Use the Calculate Sample Separation option (UCEDATASEP GX) to flag data points that exceed the maximum data separation specification.

UX-Analyze extension:
- AGC Dynamic Data > QC Tools
- AGC Expert User > Dynamic Data Prep and QC
UXO Land extension:
- Data Preparation > QC QA Tools

Application Notes
This quality control tool enables the user to flag in green lines with points that exceed a set maximum data separation.
Since the ordnance are typically of a smaller scale, it’s important to have a good number of points in a short range to be certain to increase detection.
Access Database
When OK is clicked, the following information will be exported to the Along_Line_Spacing_Table table in the DID Access database if the database has been defined in the Setup Parameters dialog:
GX Parameter | Table Column | Comment |
Database name | Dataset_ID | Name of the Geosoft database |
| Min_Separation | Minimum distance between data points, extracted from the statistics performed on the data |
| Max_Separation | Maximum distance between data points, extracted from the statistics performed on the data |
| Mean_Separation | Mean distance between data points |
| StdDev_Separation | Standard deviation of the distances between adjacent points |
| Percent_Pass | Percentage of points within data separation tolerance |
New map ? | Separation_MapID | Name of Geosoft UX-Process map generated this tool, if specified |
