Static Response Test
The Static Response Test option (UCERESPONSES GX) is called from the Instrument Response Test option to perform a static test of the instrument response over known targets.

Application Notes:
See UCECALIBRATE GX. This GX will be combined with UCECALIBRATE GX in a future version. This static test is identical to the Static Calibration test, with the exception of a known object being placed underneath the instrument while in a continuous data collection mode. For future, the Static Calibration Test and Static Response Test will be combined into one test where the instrument is warmed up, then collects data over a stationary position for a 3 minute period. Following the static test, a standard test item (e.g. steel trailer hitch ball) is placed below the sensor, and readings recorded for at least 1 minute, followed by 1 additional minute of measurements collected with the standard test item removed. Instrument response of equal amplitude from test to test demonstrates that the calibration of the instrument has not changed. This test will be done daily to measure both the background and the instrument response.
The test will document the amplitude of response to the test item and instrument drift. To pass the Static Response Test, the value of the response must vary less than 20% from test to test. Care must be taken to evaluate significant deviation in the day to day test results as these may be indicative of instrument failure.
Currently, this GX extracts the static test data in the current line of the current database and saves it to a master database called StaticResponseTest.GDB in the project directory. The database for the static response test must be made before running this GX by importing a dump file. The database containing the static test data must be selected as the current at the time of running the UCERESPONSES GX.
