Create an Anomaly Footprint Polygon Plot
Use the Target Inversion > Anomaly Polygons > Plot option (UXAPOLYPLOT GX) to plot anomaly footprint polygons in a map.
Create a Polygon Plot dialog box options
Target database | Select the target database. Script Parameter:UXANALYZE.TARGETGDB2 |
Target group(s) | Select the target group from All, Displayed, and Selected. Default selection is Displayed. Script Parameter:UXANALYZE.LINES |
ID channel | Select the ID channel from the list of channels in the target database. Script Parameter:UXANALYZE.IDCHAN |
Mask channel | Select the target database mask channel to filter out specific targets. Only the targets with a mask (channel value) of 1 will be processed. If the value is set to 0 or dummy (*), the corresponding target will be ignored. If the field is left blank, no mask will be applied. Script Parameter:UXANALYZE.MASKCHAN |
Polygon directory | Select the polygon folder. Script Parameter:UXANALYZE.POLYDIR |
Prefix | Enter the polygon prefix. Script Parameter:UXANALYZE.PREFIX |
Suffix | Enter the polygon suffix. Script Parameter:UXANALYZE.SUFFIX |
Application Notes
Prefix and suffix values will limit the number of polygons found in the polygon folder. If the target database is specified, the GX will search the polygon folder based on this search pattern: [PREFIX][ID][SUFFIX].ply, where [ID] is the target ID. However, if no target database is entered, all the polygons following [PREFIX]*[SUFFIX].ply will be retrieved.
In order to avoid performance degradation, on the output map all polygons are placed in the same view group.
In order to save the edited vertices to the proper polygon file on the storage device, the polygon editing GX has to link the polygon selected on the map to the corresponding polygon file. To do so the polygon plot GX creates an intermediary Geosoft database, in which for each polygon the position of its center as well as its full path are saved. The name of this database is automatically generated to be a unique combination of the map and the polygon group names.
